Residential Setup and Installation
Step 1.
Download AhsayACB
Before getting started, please download and install the AhsayACB client for :
Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT
Windows 2000 / 2003 / XP / Vista
Windows 2003 / XP / Vista (x64)
Mac OS X
Step 2.
Install and setup AhsayACB
After successful installation, AhsayACB will be launched automatically.
Enter backup1.zetabroadband.com in the [Address] field under the [Backup Server] section.
If you are using a proxy server to access the internet, please fill in the [Proxy settings] section.
Select the [Trial Registration] option to register for a new trial backup account.
Press the [OK] button.
Enter a login name and password of your choice (for the new trial backup account to be created on Zeta Broadband's backup server)
Enter your email address.
Press the [Submit] button.
Step 3.
Create a new backup set
After successful login, a backup set wizard will appear to help create your first backup set.
Select the shortcuts in [Backup Source] to quickly select common files for AhsayACB to backup.
Press the [Advanced] button to select additional files that you want AhsayACB to backup.
Press the [Next] button.
Enter a backup schedule for unattended backups.
Press the [Next] button.
Enter and confirm your encrypting key. (IMPORTANT - Do not lose this key!)
Press the [Save] button.
Step 4.
Backup and restore files
To backup your files, just press the big [Backup] button.
To restore your files, just press the big [Restore] button.
Business Setup and Installation
Step 1.
Download AhsayOBM
Before getting started, please follow the instructions available in the AhsayOBM installation wizard to download and install AhsayOBM.
Step 2.
Install and setup AhsayOBM
After successful installation, AhsayOBM will be launched automatically.
Enter backup1.zetabroadband.com in the [Address] field under the [Backup Service Provider] section.
If you are using a proxy server to access the internet, please fill in the [Proxy settings] section.
Press the [Next] button.
Select the [Trial Registration] option to register for a new trial backup account.
Press the [Next] button.
Enter a login name and password of your choice (for the new trial backup account to be created on AhsayOBS)
Enter your email address.
Press the [Submit] button.
Step 3.
Create a new backup set
After successful registration, a new backup set wizard will appear automatically.
Enter a backup set name of your choice in the [Name] field provided.
Press the [Next] button.
Select the files that you want AhsayOBM to backup in the [Backup Source] section
Press the [Next] button.
Under the [Backup Schedule] section, press the [properties] button to review or make changes to the default backup schedule setting.
Please note that you can use the [Add] button to add more than one backup schedule to a backup set.
Press the [Next] button.
For simplicity's sake, just accept the default setting for the [Encryption Setting] section and press the [Next] button.
Press the [Finish] button.
Step 4.
Backup and restore files
To backup your files, please do this:
Select a backup set on the left panel.
Press the [Start Backup] button on the top menu.
Select the [Offsite Backup Server] option and press the [OK] button.
To restore your files, please do this:
Select the [Restore] tab available at the bottom of AhsayOBM.
Select the backup set containing the files you want to restore from the left panel (press the [Refresh] icon if no backup sets appear on the left panel).
Select all files that you want to restore using the file explorer on the right panel and press the [Restore Files] button located on the top menu.
If you want to restore your files to a folder other than the original folder, please make changes to the [Restore files to] section.
Press the [Start] button to restore your files.
